Goal:

Goal 3: Decrease food insecurity by implementing expanded food distribution and access programs alongside nutrition education initiatives.

Strategy Description:

Develop and maintain BuyLocalAllegany.org website, a one-stop website for local foods, farmers' markets, and community gardens in Allegany County, MD. Provide vouchers to the farmers' market. Provide local food and healthy food to county residents in need. Provide nutrition education. Hold focus groups for gathering data regarding the needs of community members.
