Hi everyone, This is a great group to start. As we head into the winter months the reports of rabies usually decreases since animals are less active. Allegany County has had a very great year with no reported positive rabies encounters! However, please remember that indoor animals do have the chance to be exposed to rabies through bats getting to the house.
Remember, if you see an animal that is not your own, leave it alone! You never know when an animal may be sick. You cant tell from just looking at them.
