Currently, Truvada is the medication that is used for PrEP. PrEP can only be prescribed by a healthcare professional and must be taken daily to maximize the full effectiveness of the medication. Today, most insurance/prescription plans will pay for PrEP, but there is help if your insurance does not currently include Truvada.

The group is held monthly on the last Tuesday at 5:30pm at Villa Maria Behavioral Health, 308 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, Maryland. All are welcome to attend.
