I have seen some life expectancy data by census tract, some of which is surprising. I’d love to map the fast food restaurants by census tract and see if there is any correlation with life expectancy! Anyone else interested?

Worksite Wellness 6 years agoThis past summer and fall the ACHD Wellness Committee encouraged a different employee each week to bring in fruits and herbs to infuse a large container of water each Wednesday. This was a huge success and the Wellness group has decided to keep Wellness Water Wednesday going. This is an easy idea you can introduce in your worksites.

Worksite Wellness 6 years agoAllegany County Health Department has a new (or revived) Worksite Wellness Committee. It is exciting to attend the meetings and see the ideas generated to improve the well-being of the ACHD employees. Thanks to Alison Robinson who has agreed to chair the group .
