Diseases Spread by Humans, Animals and Insects 5 years, 11 months agoI understand the EColi from the romaine lettuce contamination was traced to a farm in Santa Barbara county California. It’s very curious how their contaminated irrigation water source (used for all the crops) only resulted in contamination of the romaine, but not other types of lettuce.

I think this is a great new initiative. I applaud the comprehensive, yet individualized approach they recommend. I doubt that physicians alone will be able to supply this higher level of care for the “4th trimester”, but I envision many of these services would be suitable for the whole health care team to participate in.
